Serving industry since 1903 and proud of our reputation for supplying high quality parts, Appalachian Foundry (Thetford Foundry) can respond to all your requirements for machined and as-cast parts, weighing from 10 to 1,500 lbs. We offer a wide range of cast irons including gray, nodular, white and alloyed grades, and recently have added refractory and stainless steels to the already impressive list of alloys we pour.

In the beginning, Appalachian Foundry (Thetford Foundry) served local needs. Over the years, in response to the changing needs of industry, we developed alloys to meet the new challenges that represented resistance to wear, abrasion and corrosio.

In the early 90's, we worked conjointly with Laval University and certain customers to elaborate the family of CT alloys. These alloys now position us among the leaders in the fight to improve wear resistance.
